Prominent Banker Mr. M. M. Saiful Islam joined Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited as Deputy Managing Director (DMD) on 29 May 2023. Prior to joining Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited, he served as Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Corporate Investment at Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited.

Mr. M. M. Saiful Islam was born in a noble Muslim family in 1973 at Bahadurpur village of Pangsha upazila of Rajbari district. He obtained MBA degree from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) of Dhaka University. Later he also obtained Post Graduation in Certified Financial Planning (CFP) with honors from Centennial College, Toronto, Canada. Mr. M. M. Saiful Islam started his career in 1998 by joining Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited as Senior Officer. In a banking career spanning over 25 years, he holds various key positions in three large financial institutions. Mr. M. M. Saiful Islam has earned more than 20 years of experience in Investment Risk Management & Risk Management in Bank Asia and Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited.

Mr. M. M. Saiful Islam took part in various training programs, seminars and workshops on Banking & Finance held in home and abroad.
