In order to provide better services to the clients the Bandartila Branch of Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. has started banking activities from 02nd April 2023 at the new address (L. A. Tower-01st Floor, M. A. Aziz Road, Bandartila, Chattogram). The Vice-Chairmen of the Board of Directors of the Bank Mr. Mohiuddin Ahmed formally inaugurated the relocated branch as Chief Guest. The Director of the Bank Mr. Md. Sanaullah Shahid was present as Special Guest in the opening program. The Additional Managing Director & CBO of the Bank Mr. Abdul Aziz presided over in the ceremony. The Bandartila Branch of the Bank started banking operation on December 28, 2010. The Head of Public Relations Division & Bank Foundation Mr. Md. Shamsuddoha (Shimu) moderated in the program.

Among others the Deputy Managing Director of the Bank Mr. Imtiaz U. Ahmed, the Chattogram Zonal Head of the Bank Mr. Rashed Sarwar and the Manager of Bandartila Branch of the Bank Mr. Mohammad Nawshad Abbas delivered speech in the opening program. Among the clients & well-wishers the General Secretary of Shahplaza Market Mr. Md. Farooq Hossain, the Proprietor of Zahid & Brothers Mr. Md. Zahid Hossain and the Partner of Taher & Brothers Mr. Md. Abu Taleb also delivered speech in the opening program. In the opening ceremony included reciting from the Holy Quran, Milad Mahfil and Doa was held at the branch premises.
