Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited won the Gold Award (1st Position) in the 9th ICSB National Award for Corporate Governance Excellence-2021 for the best presented annual report 2021. The award was given to Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited for ensuring sound corporate governance, discipline & transparency and accountability in the overall management of the Bank. The Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) awarded Gold Award to Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited in Private Commercial Bank (Islamic Operation) category on 17th December 2022 at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in capital Dhaka. The Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. & Chairman of Executive Committee Mr. Akkas Uddin Mollah and the Managing Director & CEO of the Bank Mr. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed received the award from Mr. Salman F. Rahman, MP, (Chief Guest of the event) Private Industry & Investment Adviser to the Hon'ble Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
