Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited paid tribute with due respect by placing wreaths on the portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman installed in front of the bank's corporate head office on 15 August 2022 On the occasion of the National Mourning Day-2022. The chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank Mr. Mohammed Younus, the directors Mr. Md. Sanaullah Shahid, Engineer Md. Towhidur Rahman, Mr. Khandaker Sakib Ahmed and the Managing Director & CEO Mr. M. Shahidul Islam were also present in the occasion. After offering floral tributes to the portrait, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and other members of his family who were killed on August 15, 1975 were also prayed for the forgiveness of the departed souls of the martyrs through special prayers and prayers.

On the other hand, on 16th August 2022, Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited distributed food items among the destitute People in Ward No. 39, the North City Corporation of the Capital Dhaka. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited, Mr. Mohammed Younus distributed food items among the destitute people as the chief guest. The Councilor of Ward No. 39 Mr. Shafiqul Islam Basek was present as special guest in the occasion. The Deputy Managing Director of the Bank Mr. Md. Nazimuddoula, the SEVP of IC&CD Mr. Md. Monzurul Alam Chowdhury and the Head of Public Relations Division & Bank Foundation of the Bank Mr. Md. Samchuddoha (Shimu) were also present.
