In order to provide better services to the clients the Kushtia Branch of Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. has started banking activities from 19th June 2022 at the new address (Goni Bhaban, 01 N S Road, Kushtia Sadar, Kushtia). The Managing Director & CEO of the Bank Mr. M. Shahidul Islam formally inaugurated the relocated branch as Chief Guest. The branch has been relocated to a spacious place for ensuring better services to the customer.

The former President of Kushtia Chamber of Commerce & Industry Mr. Nasir Uddin Mridha, the Managing Director of Rashid Group Mr. Md. Abdur Rashid, the Executive Director of DESHA NGO Mr. Md. Robiul Islam and the Proprietor of Natural Engineering Construction Mr. Ehsanul Haque Babu delivered speech in the opening ceremony.

Among others the Head of Public Relations Division and Bank Foundation of the Bank Mr. Md. Shamsuddoha, the Manager of Kushtia Branch of the Bank Mr. G. M. Quamruzzaman also delivered speech in the ceremony. A few number of customers and well-wishers present in the program. In the opening ceremony included reciting from the Holy Quran, Milad Mahfil and Doa was held at the branch premises.

In his speech, the Managing Director & CEO of the Bank Mr. M. Shahidul Islam said, we have relocated this branch to more spacious location for providing better services to our clients. We hope our customer will get more services from now. The branch started its’ journey on 15th December 2011 and contribute to the overall development of this area including agriculture, industry, trade and infrastructure. We also hope that in the near future Shahjalal Islami Bank will play a more inventive role in the expansion of trade, commerce and industry in this area.
