Shahjalal Islami Bank’s 25th AGM held

The 25th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC. held on 24th May 2026 through Digital Platform (with Online Video Conference). The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank Mr. Mohammed Younus presided over in the meeting. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) approved 13 percent Cash dividend for the Shareholders and the Directors reported & audited Balance Sheet and the profit & loss account for the year ended on 31st December 2025. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank Mr. Mohammed Younus and the Managing Director Mr. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed delivered speech in the Annual General Meeting (AGM). The SEVP & Company Secretary of the Bank Mr. Md. Abul Bashar moderated the program.

Among others the Vice-Chairmen of the Board Mr. Mohiuddin Ahmed & Mr. Fakir Akhtaruzzaman, the Directors Mr. Md. Sanaullah Shahid, Mr. Abdul Barek, Mr. Akkas Uddin Mollah, Mr. Khandaker Shakib Ahmed, Engineer Md. Towhidur Rahman, Mr. Abdul Hakim, the Independent Director Mr. Md. Reazul Karim and the Member of Shari"ah Supervisory Committee of the Bank Mufti Mohammad Mizanur Rahman were also present in the AGM. Besides the Additional Managing Director of the Bank Mr. Md. Abdullah Al-Mamun, the Deputy Managing Directors Mr. M. M. Saiful Islam & Mr. Md. Jafar Sadeq, FCA, the Legal Advisor of the Bank Barrister Khan Mohammad Shamim Aziz, the External Auditor of the Bank & the Partner of Aziz Halim Khayer & Co. Mr. Md. Ashrafuzzaman, ACA, the Independent Scrutinizer Partner of Jasmin & Associates Jasmin Akter, FCS and the Share Holders participated in the Annual General Meeting (AGM) through digital Platform.
