Shahjalal Islami Bank organized Student Banking Conference-2026 at Chuadanga district as lead Bank

Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC. organized the Student Banking Conference-2026 at Upazila Parishad Auditorium, Chuadanga on 11 April 2026 as the lead bank in cooperation with all Scheduled Banks operating in Chuadanga district under the overall supervision of Bangladesh Bank. The Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC Mr. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed was present as chief guest at the Student Banking Conference-2026. The Additional Director of Financial Inclusion Department of Bangladesh Bank Mr. Hasan Kazi Taufikur Rahman, the Deputy Director of Financial Inclusion Department of Bangladesh Bank Mr. Mahabub-Ul Alam and the manager of Narayanganj branch of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC Mr. S. M. Rashedul Karim were present as Special guest in the program. The Head of Financial Inclusion & Risk Management Division of the Bank Mr. Mr. Mohammed Abu Shayem moderated in the program. Among others there are about one hundred and fifty students from different schools and other participants were present in the program.

In the event, the speakers encouraged the students to conserve and highlighted the necessity of savings in future life. Moreover, they inform the students about student banking and provides them with the necessary guidance to inculcate the savings mindset. The discussants mentioned in their speech that the significant amount of student banking account in the banking sector is highly commendable.

In order to increase public awareness about student banking, a colorful rally consisting of students from different schools was held. In the Day-long School Banking Conference-2026, prize distribution, cultural program and distribution of gifts among students created a festive atmosphere.
