Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with i Farmer Limited on 11th June 2024 at Bank’s Corporate Head Office. In presence of the Additional Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC Mr. Abdul Aziz, the Deputy Managing Director of the Bank Mr. M. M. Saiful Islam and the CEO of i Farmer Limited Mr. Fahad Ifaz signed on the agreement on behalf of their respective Organizations.

With the aim of achieving GDP growth through increased agricultural production, controlling inflation caused by global factors and ensuring self-sufficiency in food imports, Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC and the i Farmer Limited (an agritech company) signed on the agreement. Among others the Head of SME & Agri. Investment Division of the Bank Mr. Md. Abdur Rahim was also present in the signing ceremony along with other officials of both organizations.
