Shahjalal Islami Bank training academy organized a day-long workshop on refinancing schemes of Bangladesh Bank on 21st October 2023. The Managing Director & CEO of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC Mr. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, attended the workshop as the chief guest. The Deputy Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC Mr. M. M. Saiful Islam and the Head of SME & Agri. Investment Division of the Bank Mr. Md. Abdur Rahim were present as special guests in the workshop. The workshop was presided over by Mr. Md. Saidur Rahman, Principal of the Bank's Tanning Academy.

In order to make the economy of Bangladesh employment-oriented and industry-oriented, Bangladesh Bank has been conducting refinancing schemes in various sectors to ensure easy investment facilities among the entrepreneurs of the CMSME sector. Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC has ensured significant investment disbursement under the schemes at customer level since its’ inception. In this consequences Shahjalal Islami Bank organized this workshop on refinancing schemes with the participation of investment officers of 40 (forty) branches in the hope of making the country's SME sector more dynamic and a smart Bangladesh.
