In order to provide better services to the clients the Satmasjid Road Branch of Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. has started banking activities from 01st October 2023 at the new address (Green City Center, 58 Satmasjid Road, Dhanmondi, Dhaka). The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank Mr. Mohammed Younus formally inaugurated the relocated branch as Chief Guest. The Managing Director & CEO of the Bank Mr. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed presided over in the ceremony. The Satmasjid Road Branch of the Bank started banking operation on 07th September 2006. In the same day an ATM Booth has also been inaugurated in the Branch premises.

Among others the manager of Dhanmondi Branch of the Bank Mr. F. M. Nawaz Ali, the Head of Public Relations Division & Bank Foundation Mr. Md. Shamsuddoha, the Head of Common Services Division of the Bank Mr. Mr. Mahmudul Shamim Talukder, the manager of Satmasjid Road Branch of the Bank Mr. Mohammad Hasib Uddin, the manager of Kawran Bazar Branch Mr. Md. Iftekhar Shahid, the manager of College Gate Branch Mr. A. H. M. Shahrier and well-wishers of the Bank were also present in the opening ceremony. On the occasion of the opening branch, Holy Quran Khatam, Durood and Dua Mahfil were organized in the branch premises to wish for the prosperity of the Bank.

In a short speech, the Chief Guest, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank, Mr. Mohammed Younus said, Shahjalal Islami Bank has been providing services to the customers since its inception. At present, we have been providing services to customers relentlessly through 140 branches, 4 sub-branches, significant number of ATM booths and agent banking outlets of Shahjalal Islami Bank. Shahjalal Islami Bank customers always have full confidence in this bank due to its quality of service. Therefore, the reputation and image of the bank is constantly increasing, the financial base is getting stronger, the branches are expanding, the number of customers is increasing and the bank is able to participate in the economic development of the country.

Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited has been providing cordial services to customers with modern technology. We have all the facilities of modern technology in this bank. Currently, the Prime Minister of the country has been giving utmost importance to the financial inclusion program, in continuation of which, Shahjalal Islami Bank is constantly working towards that goal by expanding branches, sub-branches and agent outlets. Currently there is no liquidity crisis in Shahjalal Islami Bank, we have a large surplus of liquidity. We are interested in investing more in developing and promising sectors. Currently, the number of customers of this bank is more than 9 lakhs. We have relocated this Satmasjid Road branch to a well-spaced location to cater to the needs and convenience of our customers.
