Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. inaugurated it’s Anwer Khan Modern Medical College & Hospital Sub-branch (House No#17, Road No#08, Dhanmondi, Dhaka-1205) on 30 July 2023 with the determination to provide better services and to provide banking services to people from all walks of life. The Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited and Chairman of Bank Foundation Dr. Anwer Hossain Khan, MP inaugurated the sub-branch as the chief guest. The Managing Director & CEO of Shahjalal Islami Bank Mr. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed presided over the opening ceremony. The Anwer Khan Modern Medical College & Hospital Sub-branch will conduct all their banking activities under the Dhanmondi branch of the Bank. The opening ceremony included reciting from the Holy Quran, Milad Mahfil and Doa was held at the Sub-Branch premises to wish for the prosperity of the Bank.

Saiful Islam, the Advisor of Modern Health Group Maj. Gen. Ashraf Abdullah Yussuf (Retd.), the Manager of Dhanmondi Branch of the Bank Mr. F. M. Nawaz Ali, the Head of Public Relations Division and Bank Foundation Mr. Md. Shamsuddoha (Shimu), the Head of Common Service Division Mr. Mahmudul Shamim Talukder, the In charge of Anwer Khan Modern Medical College & Hospital Sub-branch Mr. Md. Abdush Shakur and local Industrialists & eminent Businessmen were also present at the opening ceremony.

In the speech of the chief guest Dr. Anwer Hossain Khan, MP said that the current government is a development-friendly government; With the relentless efforts of this government, we can see signs of development everywhere in the country. We hope that through this sub-branch of Shahjalal Islami Bank, the overall business and trade of the area will be improved.
