Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) organized “Half-Yearly Business Conference-2023” on 22nd July 2023 through Digital Platform (with an online Video conference). The inaugural ceremony of the Conference was presided over by its’ Managing Director & CEO of the Bank Mr. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, while the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank Mr. Mohammed Younus was present as Chief Guest & delivered speech.

Among others the Vice-Chairmen of the Board Mr. Abdul Karim (Nazim), the Directors the Directors Mr. Md. Sanaullah Shahid, Mr. Fakir Akhtaruzzaman and Independent Director Mr. Nasir Uddin Ahmed were also present as Special Guest and delivered speech. On the other hand, the Additional Managing Directors of the Bank Mr. Abdul Aziz, Mr. S. M. Mainuddin Chowdhury, Mian Quamrul Hasan Chowdhury and Mr. M. Akhter Hossain, the Deputy Managing Directors Mr. Imtiaz U. Ahmed, Mr. Md. Nazimuddoula, Mr. Rashed Sarwar, Mr. M. M. Saiful Islam and Mr. Mustafa Husain and the CFO of the Bank Mr. Md. Jafar Sadeq, FCA also present and delivered speech in the meeting. The Head of Public Relations Division (PRD) of the Bank Mr. Md. Shamsuddoha Shimu moderated the program. The Head of different Division from Corporate Head Office, the Branch Managers of 140 Branches & 04 Sub-Branches including the Executives and officers there were 850 participants took part in the business conference through Virtual Platform.

In the meeting, the speakers discussed the business performance of the first six months of the current year and urged to take necessary strategy and action plan to achieve the business target for the remaining time of the year.
