Prominent Banker Mr. Mustafa Husain has joined Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited as Deputy Managing Director (DMD) on 26th June 2023.

Mr. Mustafa Husain has over 29 years’ professional experience in banking sector including 16 years as Branch Manager. He started his banking career at AB Bank Limited in 1994 before moving to Dhaka Bank Limited. Prior to joining Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited, Mr. Husain served as the Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Gulshan Branch, Dhaka Bank Limited. He also successfully worked as Branch Manager of Uttara Branch and Mohakhali Branch at Dhaka Bank Limited.

Mr. Husain has a proven track record of successful achievement in business development and branch banking. He has sound knowledge and expertise in Corporate Finance, RMG Finance, SME Finance and Foreign Trade.

He holds a B.Com and M.Com in Marketing from the University of Dhaka. He attended numerous trainings at home and abroad and has received different awards and appreciation for his outstanding performance.
