Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited organized the School Banking Conference-2022 as the lead Bank at Kalapara in Patuakhali district on 12 November 2022 with the cooperation of all scheduled banks operating in Patuakhali district under the supervision of Bangladesh Bank. The Managing Director & CEO of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited Mr. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed presided over the conference while the Director of Bangladesh Bank’s Barisal Zonal Office Mr. Bishnupada Kar was present as the chief guest. The Head of Public Relations and Bank Foundation of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited Mr. Md. Shamsuddoha moderated in the program.

The Additional Director of Bangladesh Bank Mr. Md. Iqbal Mohsin and the Joint Director Mr. Md. Jahangir Alam delivered speech as special guests in the conference. Among others, the Head of Financial Inclusion and lead Bank representative of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited Mr. Md. Ashfaqul Haque, FCA and the representative of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd. Mr. Md. Niamat Ullah also delivered speech in the conference.

In the conference, the speakers encouraged the students to save and highlighted the necessity of saving in the life of people in the future. Moreover, the speakers also informed the students about the banking and provides them with the necessary guidance to inculcate the mindset of savings.
