Capital Market Service Division (CMSD) of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) has opened its Sylhet unit.

Sponsor Director of the bank Shams Uddin Khan formally inaugurated the unit at Sylhet town as the chief guest recently, said a press release.

Among others, alternate directors of the bank Rukun Uddin Khan and Md Masud, deputy managing directors Md Mukhter Hossain and Md Abdul Jabbar Chowdhury, Company Secretary Emran Hossain, Executive Vice President Anisul Kabir, Head of PRD Shamsuddoha Shimu, Manager of Sylhet branch Tofael Yakub and Chief of CMSD Anwer Hossain were present at the opening ceremony.

A good number of clients and well?wishers attended the inaugural function.

Addressing the function, the chief guest said the bank as per its mission would contribute in all sector for the development of the country's economy including its capital market by opening more branches at the potential places of the country besides the Sylhet unit, the release added.
