Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) organized “Annual Business Conference-2021” on 23 January 2021 through Digital Platform with online Video conference. The Conference was presided over by its’ Managing Director & CEO Mr. M. Shahidul Islam, while the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank Mr. Md. Sanaullah Shahid was present as Chief Guest.

Among others the Directors Mr. Akkas Uddin Mollah, Engr. Md. Towhidur Rahman, Mr. Mohammed Golam Quddus, Independent Director Mr. Nasir Uddin Ahmed, the Chairman of Bank’s Shariah Supervisory Committee Allamah Mufti Abdul Halim Bukharee, the Additional Managing Directors of the Bank Mr. Abdul Aziz & Mr. S. M. Mainuddin Chowdhury, the Deputy Managing Directors Mr. Md. Shahjahan Shiraj, Mr. M. Akhter Hossain, Mian Quamrul Hasan Chowdhury, Mr. Imtiaz U. Ahmed and Mr. Nasim Sekander participated in this conference. The Executives from Corporate Head Office, the Head of different Division and the Managers of 132 branches & 2 sub-branches total of 893 Officials attended in the business conference through online. Mr. Shamsuddoha Shimu, the Head of Public Relations Division of the Bank moderated the program.

In the conference, the speakers discussed on prevailing situation and planning for future roadmap to overcome the adverse impact of Covid-19. The meeting evaluated the performance of the previous year and urged to take necessary strategy and action plan to achieve the business target for the current year.
