Shahjalal Islami Bank received South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) award Joint First Runner UP in the category of Private Sector Banks for Best Presented Annual Report 2019.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka organized the SAFA best presented Annual Reports Award on 23rd December 2020 through Digital Platform with Hybrid Model. The all CA Institutesfrom the SAARC countries took part of the program. The Bangladeshi entities were connected through Zoom Apps at ICAB Auditorium, Dhaka. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) handed over the prize among the winners at ICAB Bhaban. The Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. Mian Quamrul Hasan Chowdhury and the CFO Mr. Md. Jafar Sadeq, FCA received the SAFA award fromthe Vice-President of South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) Mr. AKM Delwer Hossain, FCMA.

Among others the President of ICAB Mr. Muhammad Farooq, FCA and the Member Council of ICAB Mr. Mohammed Humayun Kabir, FCA were also present in the program.
