A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) and Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAAB) on 3rd February 2020 at a Hotel in the Capital. Under the Memorandum of Understanding, all Ballottee & Non- Ballottee Hajj & Umrah Pilgrims can deposit their Hajj & Umrah Registration Fee through 132 Branches and 2 Sub-branches of SJIBL from all over the country.

The Managing Director & CEO of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited Mr. M. Shahidul Islam and the President of HAAB Mr. M Shahadat Hossain Taslim signed on the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on behalf of their respective organizations.

Among others the Secretary General of HAAB Mr. Faruque Ahmed Sarder, the Deputy Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. Mr. Nasim Sekander, the manager of Foreign Exchange Branch of the Bank Mr. Mahmud Hussain, the manager of Motijheel Branch Mr. Md. Enamul Haque, the manager of Bijoynagar Branch Mr. Nazir Ahammed, the Muraquib of the Bank Mawlana Md. Farid Uddin and the high officials of the both organizations were also present with in the MoU signing ceremony.
