Nasim Sekander promoted as DMD of Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd.
Mr. Nasim Sekander has recently been promoted as Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL). He joined in SJIBL in 2017 as Senior Executive Vice President and been assigned as Head of Tower Branch, there after he also assigned as Manager of Mahakhali Branch and presently worked as Head of Dhaka Main Branch of the Bank at Dilkusha Commercial Area. He started his career in United Commercial Bank Limited in the year 1988. He undertook managerial responsibility since 2002. In his time, he worked at three other leading private commercial banks, like National Credit & Commerce Bank Ltd, Prime Bank Ltd. and Southeast Bank Limited.

During his long 31 years of banking career he is exerting managerial and Leadership responsibilities for last 18 years in Banking sector, with his sound knowledge, foresight attitude and leadership quality, he always try to take the bank to it’s goal.

Mr. Sekander is from Maizdee Court, Noakhali district, he is the 3rd son of Late Shahid Uddin Eskander (Former MP) and Late Arjumand Banu (Former MP). In his nearly last three decades of banking career, he shouldered various responsibilities of Bank Operation and contributed towards up gradation of the Bank in a compliant and profitable manner. He is also actively associated with many socio-economic and socio-cultural activities.
