Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) inaugurated it’s 120th Branch at Sadarpur in Faridpur District on 10th December 2018 and At the same time an ATM Booth has also been inaugurated in the Branch premises. The Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. Mr. A K Azad formally inaugurated the Branch and the ATM Booth as Chief Guest. The Managing Director & CEO of the Bank Mr. M. Shahidul Islam presided over in the ceremony.

The Former Advisor of Prime Minister Prof. Dr. Syed Modasser Ali and the Chairman of Sadarpur Upazila Parishad Mr. kazi Shafiqur Rahman, the Tax Commissioner Mr. A K M Borhan, the Teacher of University of Dhaka Professor Mr. Nizamul Haq Bhuiya and the Proprietor of Tomij Uddin Textile Mr. Shoyeb Chowdhury were also present as special invitation guest.

Among others the Head of Common Services Division Mr. Md. Mahbubur Rasheed, the Head of Public Relations Division and Bank Foundation Mr. Md. Shamsuddoha, the Manager of Charbhadrasan Branch Mr. K. M. Anisure Rahman, the Manager of Faridpur Branch Mr. Joarder Shariful Islam, the Manager of Sadarpur Branch Mr. S M Ashraful Alam and Local Businessmen were also present in the ceremony.

In his speech Mr. A K Azad Said, the Country is developing day by day and the development of country is being reflected everywhere. He urges to ensure proper development at grassroots level for Sustainable development of the country. He also said Shahjalal Islami Bank intends to more invest in Sadarpur area for the economic and business development. He also said, the Bank will finance in the SME sector for the development and business expansion.

The Managing Director Mr. M. Shahidul Islam discussed elaborately about the Bank’s deposit and investment Schemes. The Bank is working to bring back all classes of people to take them under banking services.

The opening ceremony included reciting from the Holy Quran, Milad Mahfil and Doa was held at the Branch premises.
