Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) inaugurated it’s 119th Branch at Takterchala Bazar in Tangail District on 29th November 2018. The Deputy Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. Mr. Abdul Aziz formally inaugurated the Branch as Chief Guest.

Among others the Head of Investment Division of the Bank Mr. Md. Mahmudul Haque, the Head of Common Services Division Mr. Md. Mahbubur Rasheed, the Head of Public Relations Division and Bank Foundation Mr. Md. Shamsuddoha, the Manager of Tangail Branch Mr. Md. Abdul Khaleque, the Manager of Takterchala Bazar Branch Mr. K. M. Kamal Hossan, the Chairman of Hatibandha Union Parishad Mr. Md. Gias Uddin and Local Businessmen were also present in the ceremony.

In his speech Mr. Abdul Aziz Said, the banking sector is playing a significant role for the overall economic growth of the country. Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. achieved the client’s credibility due to contemporary and modern technology based services. He also said Shahjalal Islami Bank intends to more invest in Takterchala Bazar area for the economic and business development. He also said, the Bank will finance in the SME sector for the development and business expansion.

The opening ceremony included reciting from the Holy Quran, Milad Mahfil and Doa was held at the Branch premises.
