Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) inaugurated it’s 115th Branch at Baraikhali Bazar Shreenagar in Munshiganj District on 23rd October 2018 and at the same time an ATM Booth has been inaugurated in the Branch premises. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited Mr. Akkas Uddin Mollah formally inaugurated the Branch and the ATM Booth as Chief Guest. The Managing Director & CEO of the Bank Mr. M. Shahidul Islam presided over in the Opening Ceremony.

Among others the Deputy Managing Directors of the Bank Mr. Abdul Aziz and Mr. Imtiaz U Ahmed, the Head of Common Services Division Mr. Md. Mahbubur Rasheed, the Head of Public Relations Division & Bank Foundation Mr. Md. Shamsuddoha, the Company Secretary Mr. Md. Abul Bashar, the Manager of Malibag Chowdhurypara Branch Mr. Nazir Ahmed, the Manager of Baraikhali Branch Mr. Habibur Rahaman, the Member of Munshiganj Zela Awami League Mr. Iqbal Hossain Master, the Local Businessman & Social Worker Mr. Mofazzal Hossain, the Chairman of Baraikhali Union Parishad Mr. Selim Talukdar, the Proprietor of Jowtho Fabrics Mr. Md. Ruman and Local Businessmen were also present in the ceremony.

In his speech Mr. Akkas Uddin Mollah Said, the banking sector is playing a significant role for the overall economic growth of the country. Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. achieved the client’s credibility due to contemporary and modern technology based services. He also said Shahjalal Islami Bank intends to more invest in Baraikhali area for the economic and business development. He also said, the Bank will finance in the SME sector for the development and business expansion.

The Managing Director Mr. M. Shahidul Islam discussed elaborately about the Bank’s deposit and investment Schemes. The Bank is working to bring back all classes of people to take them under banking services.

The opening ceremony included reciting from the Holy Quran, Milad Mahfil and Doa was held at the Branch premises.
