Shahjalal Islami Bank’s WASA Moor Branch Relocated
Shahjalal Islami Bank’s WASA Moor Branch relocated at Moss-Rose Heights, CDA Avenue, WASA Moor, Chattogram on 23rd September 2018. To provide better services for the Clients, the Branch has been shifted at new Place extendedly.
The Chairman of Executive Committee of the Bank and Chairman of Shahjalal Isalmi Bank Securities Ltd. Mr. Anwer Hossain Khan formally inaugurated the relocated Branch as Chief Guest. The WASA Moor Branch started it’s Banking operation on 29th December 2011. The Director and former Chairman of the Board Engr. Md. Towhidur Rahman was present as a special guest in the ceremony. The Branch has been shifted in a spacious place to provide better services to the Clients. The Additional Managing Director of the Bank Mr. M Shahidul Islam presided over the ceremony.

Among others the Head of Chattogram Zone of the Bank Mr. Md. Nasir Uddin, the Manager of Agrabad Branch Mr. Rashed Sarwar, the Head of Public Relations Division Mr. Md. Shamsuddoha, the Manager of WASA Moor Branch Mr. A. T. M. Qumruddin, Local Industrialists and Eminent Businessmen were also present at the opening ceremony. Among the Clients Mr. Sayed Nasir and Mr. M A Kashem were also delivered speech in the program.

The Chief Guest of the ceremony Mr. Anwer Hossain Khan said, Shahjalal Islami Bank is a Shariah based commercial Bank, which is rendering cordial services to it’s clients. Most of the foreign business of the country is running through the Chattogram Port. The economic development of the country can be more accelerated by proper utilizing and modernization of the Port. Shahjalal Islami Bank is very keen to invest in the productive & potential sectors of Chattogram area.

The Additional Managing Director Mr. M Shahidul Islam discussed elaborately about the Bank’s deposit and investment Schemes. He also said as per the intense demand of Clients the Branch has been shifted in new premises extensionally to ensure better services.

The opening ceremony included reciting from the Holy Quran, Milad Mahfil and Doa was held at the Branch premises.
