Shahjalal Islami Bank Head office and others 113 branches of the Bank organized khatme Quran and Doa-Mahfil on the occasion of it’s 17th year anniversary on 10th May 2018. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank Alhaj Akkas Uddin Mollah participated in the Doa-Mahfil as Chief Guest and inaugurated the 17th year anniversary by cutting a cake.

In the program the Vice-Chairmen of the Board Mr. Mohammed Golam Quddus and Khandaker Shakib Ahmed, Directors Mr. A K Azad, Mr. Anwer Hossain Khan, Engineer Md. Towhidur Rahman, Mr. Fakir Akhtaruzzaman, Mr. Md. Sanaullah Shahid, Mr. Mohiuddin Ahmed, Mr. Abdul Halim, Mr. Abdul Barek, Mr. Md. Moshiur Rahman Chamak, Mr. Khorshed Alam Khan, Independent Director Mr. Mosharraf Hossain Chowdhury, Managing Director Mr. Farman R Chowdhury, Additional Managing Director Mr. M. Shahidul Islam and Deputy Managing Directors Mr. Md. Shahjahan Shiraj, Mr. M. Akhter Hossain, Mr. Abdul Aziz, Mr. Mustaque Ahmed and Mian Quamrul Hasan Chowdhury and different divisional Heads of the Bank were also present.

As on 30th April 2018 the total Deposit of the bank stands on Tk.17,047.00 Crore, total Investment Tk. 16,805.00 Crore. From 01st January 2017 to 30th April 2018 the total Import Business and Export Business of the Bank is Tk. 31,115.00 Crore. The business volume of the Bank gradually increasing by dint of it’s efficient manpower, dexterous Board of Directors as well as contemporary business policy.
