The 189th meeting of the Board of Directors of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) was held at its boardroom recently. The meeting was presided over by the Vice-Chairmen of the Board of Directors Alhaj Syed Nurul Arefeen. The board approved a number of investment proposals and discussed various issues relating to policy matters of the Bank.

Among others Directors Alhaj Akkasuddin Mollah, Alhaj Mohammed Solaiman, Alhaj Md. Sanaullah Shahid, Alhaj Abdul Barek, Alhaj Abdul Halim, Alhaj Khandoker Sakib Ahmed, Alhaj Tofazzal Hossain, Alhaj Mohammad Farooq, Managing Director (CC) Masihul Huq Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Directors Md. Abdul Jabber Chowdhury and Md. Setaur Rahman were present in the meeting.
