Mr Anwer Hossain Khan and Mr Md Harun Miah and Mr Khandoker Sakib Ahmed have unanimously been elected chairman and vice chairmen respectively of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited.

The board of directors of the bank at its 131st meeting in the city recently elected its chairman and vice chairmen.

Mr Khan is the chairman and managing director of Modern Diagnostic Centre Limited, Anwer Khan Modern Medical College, Anwer Khan Modern Hospital and Haji Sakawat Anwara Modern Eye Hospital.

He is also a Founder Director of Fareast Finance and Investment Ltd., Fareast Stock and Bond Ltd., Shahjalal Islami Bank Securities Ltd. and Takaful Islami Insurance Company Ltd. and Member of Governing Council of Prime University.

Mr Miah is the managing director of Kushiara Financial Services Ltd., Kushiara Travels Ltd. and Homelink Remit Ltd. and directors of Kushiara Properties, Kushiara Cash & Carry, Shahjalal Islami Bank Securities Ltd., Bangla Frozen Food Ltd. and Quality Sea Food Ltd.

He is also the Proprietor of Hotel Holiday Planet and Hotel Pritom Inn.

Mr Ahmed is the director of Z Agro Vet Enterprise, Zuiria Trade International, Five Star Cargo Corporation, Shahjalal Islami Bank Securities Ltd. and Khandoker Poultry and Fisheries Ltd.
